What is Image Licencing?
Image Licencing is where a fee is paid for a one time single use of the image. For example if a magazine company wants to use one of my images in an upcoming edition, they will licence the image they want for that particular edition only and it cant be used for later editions or any other purpose. When buying an Image Licence the magazine company will give details of its industry, geographic region etc.
What is the advantage of Image Licencing?
Licencing gives the photographer control over who, how often and where an image is being used. This is useful information for a company or business that wants a unique image, that hasn’t been used in a similar geographic region, industry etc. Imagine a company using an image without licencing for a big promotion only to find out later the same image is being used by a competitor, or a company with a somewhat dubious reputation!
Can I Licence an image for personal use?
Yes you can, but for the same conditions as commercial use , the image is licenced on a one time single use only. You need to tell me what your intended usage is when you licence the photograph from me, eg:for your personal website only, or your personal calendar only, etc

What is Giclee Printing?
Giclee print images are generated from high resolution digital scans or digital camera files, which can then be printed with archival quality inks onto canvas and fine art papers.
The French word Giclee (pronounced jee-clay) means to spray or squirt. Suitable for Art Reproductions and Limited Edition prints, Giclee prints are widely accepted in the world’s finest museums and galleries as a true fine art medium.
Like all quality prints, Giclee prints must be protected from moisture and abrasion. When cleaning only use a soft, lint free, dry cloth. It is recommended that Canvas prints are lacquered to provide additional protection from handling, stretching and environmental conditions.
Archival prints are available on acid free 100% cotton canvas or Photo Rag for an archival life >75 years
Can I get the files in a format other than the standard JPG?
Yes, for example if you require the file in TIFF I can email this to you ,TIFF is the better format for editing as there is no loss of quality when saving.
The photo I like is in colour, but I would prefer it in black and white, can I get it changed?
